About

Boasting a glamorous and colourful history dating back to the 16th century, the Manor is nestled at Surlingham, a tiny Norfolk village of 600 residents, known primarily for its ruins of a 12th century church and three delightful nature reserves.
The Manor is the former home of John Villiers Farrow, the Oscar-winning director and father of actress Mia Farrow, who purchased the lordship of Surlingham Manor in 1937. The BBC website tells an interesting story about how this was discovered.
Now privately owned, Surlingham Manor has been refurbished to provide a beautiful and intimate venue for weddings, private occasions and corporate events.
