Whether you are planning a special celebration or simply want to escape the hustle and bustle for a few days with family or friends, the Manor offers peace and tranquillity in a stunning country setting.

The ultimate in luxury and style, the Manor House is a versatile playground for anything from anniversaries, re-unions, hen weekends or themed parties. Whatever your reasons, we are confident that you will find everything you require to make the occasion a special and memorable one.

You may decide to be master of your own time, however, if you would like to arrange something special or a bit different, our resident event planner will be able to assist you with every aspect.

The House

The Manor has been sympathetically converted to make the most of original and distinctive features. Inside, you will find:

• eight double bedrooms, with stylish and modern en-suite bathrooms
• intimate living areas, with original fireplaces
• a modern, self-catering kitchen with washing machine and utility room
• dramatic, high ceiling conservatory with views over the terrace to the lake
• a hot tub, for the ultimate experience in relaxation

The lodge

Originally an out building, the lodge is situated next to the main house and offers separate accommodation with space to sleep up to 8 people.

Parties and the Manor Marquee

For larger gatherings, Surlingham Manor is pleased to offer the Manor Marquee for exclusive hire. The marquee seats up to 126 people for dinner and dancing.

The marquee can be dressed to your specifications of colour and theme, whatever the occasion.

Food and wine

You may decide to be the chef in the Manor kitchen and self-cater or you may prefer to hire a caterer.

We are very flexible and will deliver food in to you, leave you to your own devices or work with our trusted providers of food and wine to tailor-make a menu or menus for your stay.

We can arrange anything from intimate suppers, dinner theatre, BBQ’s, Hog Roasts or a summer picnic – whatever you feel will seal your special occasion.

Rooms above and beyond

The Manor may date to the 16 century but our rooms are very much 21st century.

Upstairs you will find eight stylish bedrooms with luxury en-suite bathrooms to retire too at the end of each day, whilst a few steps away is the cosy Lodge, sleeping eight.
